Spanish Transfer Plan

Credit from other institutions transfers to UL Lafayette, but if you are a transfer student you should see an advisor in Spanish as soon as you can. They will determine how your transfer credit can best be applied here and help you decide what course or courses you should begin with here.

We also recommend that transfer students join Spanish Club and if possible, the honor society Sigma Delta Pi, to connect with other students and meet informally with faculty.

To begin the process of transferring to the Spanish major, contact Richard Winters at rwinters@louisiana.edu. You'll be assigned an official advisor after you enroll.
