Department Faculty
The Department of Modern
Languages (MODL) currently comprises 20 full-time faculty members,
teaching in five language areas and representing diverse nationalities
and cultures. The expertise of each faculty member contributes to a
well-rounded coverage of linguistic, cultural, and literary topics,
with a focus on interdisciplinary linkage among them. Graduate faculty
members regularly engage in research and publishing on original
subjects at the national and international levels, and the Department
prides itself on the quality and diversity of its collective research
output.
