Department Faculty

The Department of Modern Languages (MODL) currently comprises 20 full-time faculty members, teaching in five language areas and representing diverse nationalities and cultures. The expertise of each faculty member contributes to a well-rounded coverage of linguistic, cultural, and literary topics, with a focus on interdisciplinary linkage among them. Graduate faculty members regularly engage in research and publishing on original subjects at the national and international levels, and the Department prides itself on the quality and diversity of its collective research output.
