Latin 201 and 202 form a second-year intermediate course for students who have studied Latin for one year at the college level. Students who have studied Latin at other schools may take a placement exam during the first week of classes. Their performance on this exam determines the level in which they should enroll, and lets them earn academic credit here for work undertaken elsewhere. Department
