Template If you would like to use this page as a starting point for the creation of your very own web page, please click on "file" in your web browser. A drop down menu should appear, which will permit you to save this file to your own computer (use the "save as" option so you can give the file a name that works for you). Then open the file in the web editor of your choice, and replace the heading and text in this box with the heading, information, and links you want on this page. If you don't know what is meant by 'web editor,' or if you do, but don't have one, your web liaison recommends Nvu. This is a free, open source download. You'll then only have one step left - putting your page up on the server. Please see the instructions for this provided by UCS. Once your page is up, look at it in at least three browsers, preferably on different computers, to be sure it really looks as you intend it to look! Finally, let your web liaison know if you'd like your page to be linked to your listing on the departmental website. |
